Underneath the forest canopy, you’ll see hundreds of endemic species native to Kosrae.

Underneath the dense forest canopy, it’s cool and dark.

The Ka trees, with their wide-spread roots, are magnificent.

On your return from the Ka Forest, you might make a brief stop in the Yela Bird Cave where hundreds of birds make mud nests on the inside walls of the lava tube.

You’ll know that your almost back to the Visitor Center when you reach the boardwalk.

The boat will be waiting to take you back to the Okat Marina, past gorgeous vistas along Kosrae’s north shore.
